My family loves salmon patties but we HATE the smell the next day. I'm burning two cinnamon candles right now and it smells like cinnamon salmon. UGH! Any suggestions?
Hmm...I can usually get rid of a stink...if the smell is in your sink, pour some vinegar down the drain. Or grind lemon peels in the disposal. Spray Lysol in the air. Spray a citrus scent in the air. Boil some homemade potpourri on the stove. Finally, my best tip: bake cookies. That ALWAYS works.
i usually make one or two pots of strong coffee...even if we don't plan to drink it. it covers up the smell of salmon pretty well, plus then it sorta smells all potluck-y fellowship hall meets coffee house. it's worth dumping extra pots of coffee to get rid of the smell. btw, we love salmon too - but we usually make it sans patty and in the microwave.
p.s thanks for the kind comments about my babies...put a smile on my face!
I'm a wife and a stay-home mom of four children. Although sometimes I have to remind myself of it and although I loved my career in accounting and finance, being a wife and mom is all I ever really wanted to do. I'm ever grateful that God granted me that dream by blessing me with a hard-working husband.
